We're very happy with them. We had visited several different places, and we felt Caton had such a home-like, friendly environment right when we walked in. We knew immediately this was the one, and it was more affordable as well. They provide a lot of care, consideration, and communication. Their communication is excellent, including their timeliness in getting back to me, whether it's via email or phone call. I am one of the MAs at Carient Heart & Vascular. I recently got the pleasure of meeting [name removed] who brought in one of our patients. I can't rave enough about her. She was extremely helpful, very patient & so caring. You can tell she really loves her job and the residents. Her personality really just brightened up my day.

They were very good up until my mother's dementia was so bad that they really didn't have the facility, the staff, or the staff level to handle it. For independent living it was good and very reasonably priced. I wouldn't say it has the sophistication of some of the more expensive place but the care my mother got was very good. She was there for 3.5 years and most of the staff that was there when she arrived was there when she left. There is not a lot of turnover and it's a very family oriented kind of place.

I was not impressed by my tour at Caton Merchant House. The facility looked old and run down and all of the residents here needed a lot more care than my loved one did.
