Editorial review from Citysearch Their ph msg says ""your call is very important to them"" after an 11 minute wait for a simple question on turning in rolled coins I'm told they DO NOT take them, that they would break them open, put the coins through their machine and CHARGE me 2 % to take my money????!!! It is past time to find a new credit union as their customer service is the worse!

Horrible. This is the worst customer service experience EVER. We had a fraud issue and they did very little to help and kept applying charges that were unauthorized AFTER we reported the fraud. Also very fee driven. Not worth the time to even consider doing banking with since they switched from Research Federal. You have to call and 800# and sit on hold. Horrible. Say Away From Community Choice Credit Union! After over 30 years with this company (use to be Research Federal) I am pulling out. They DO NOT CARE about its members. The last straw, I had an account that I haven??t used for about a year with money in it. They have who I am, I have other accounts, and they emptied the account of ALL moneys without contacting me until after that fact. By mail, I got a statement showing the money...

Loyalty means nothing here I was a customer of Community Choice for several years. I've had a checking and savings account as well as couple loans through them, always paid on time and on the up and up until I ran into some financial troubles in the past year. Much like the rest of MI, I have been struggling in this economy to keep my job. I survived 3 rounds of layoffs only to come away with a paycut. WATCH YOUR WALLETS!! I'm a school teacher who's starting a new family, working a lot of hours, but watching every dime. I came to Community Choice because I grew up in Livonia and wanted to support a local company.
