I highly recommend Contractor Training Center. After going through 2 other online courses I did not feel confident about the exam. I landed on CTC , saw the price and the 8-hour webinar. I assumed for lower price I would not get half the experience. I was wrong. It was not different material but the way it was presented. I took their coarse for the NASCLA test as well as 2 of their Business and Law Exams, and passed them all. They are very willing to answer any questions you have throughout the studying process.
I took my Virginia A and B course which I felt was very thorough based on Test content. I also use contractors training center for my Virginia HIC. I felt the course improve my ability to be able to navigate through the books. I was not necessarily impressed with the practice exams. The test itself is multiple-choice a majority of the practice questions were designed to get you an answer. The practice exams were not entirely set up that way. Took the NASCLA National Commercial Prep course. If you are planning on taking this test, you need to take this course. The course is very fast paced, which I appreciate. There is obviously self study required after the course however you have a plan exactly what you have to do to prepare yourself.
