I just moved to the Austin/RoundRock area and was trying to set an appointment for my daughter’s 18 month check up. The reception told me I had to call the day I wanted to come in to see if they had an available spot. I’m completely shock! I have never done an appointment like this before. If they can’t get the front desk under control I can’t even imagine everything else. I’m so confused because the Drs were highly recommended.
The quality of care from the Doctors seems to be oustanding but note that they stopped accepting BCBS recently (late 2017). Their receptionist will not answer that question referring you to call your health plan.
I'm so sad right now. My son has been going to Dr. Addy since birth and we have loved her. He went to his 11year old yearly check up today and we decided not to get 2 of his shots, though he has been fully vaccinated up to this point. But we as a family are indecisive on a couple right now and I was just unsure today. So I was told by his doctor of 11 years we need to find a new doctor if we choose not to get those vaccinations. Wow, just going to drop my son like that after 11 years. So hurtful.
Dr. Addy is a great doctor but the staff there sucks. I have called to make an appointment and I can never get anyone to pick up the phone, phone line is not busy it just rings. I have called in the morning and I have called in the afternoon, I have tried different prompts and can not even leave a msg as it states. Today when I called 10 minuets to 4pm, someone finally picked up the phone - quickly stated to callback tomorrow and hung up on me before I could even say hello. False report on my son's immunization record. Office will not call back regarding the issue. Update 6.21.2017 Cannot get my son an appointment with a doctor after taking him to see an ENT and the recommendation is surgery in less than a month. Will not even schedule him!
