I feel confident that my mom is getting the best care. They offer lots of activities to keep her engaged, and they are proactive with the doctor's communication as they have medical staff. I would recommend to other families.
The intake coordinator was wonderful during the whole transition process. The RN was really good too. All of the every day staff were wonderful to my mother. I would definitely recommend Country House at Granite Bay if you can afford it, my loved one was very happy here when she was coherent.
Last summer, [date removed], I found CountryHouse while looking for respite care. I moved my husband in for a 2 week stay. His huge smiles in pictures, videos of him singing/dancing, and online reports with activity details all made it painfully clear that the love of my life had a more active life at CH. I have a family member who has been a resident of Country House, Granite Bay for over 2 years now. Several months ago, my daughter & I made the decision to relocate our family member to a smaller Board and Care facility. We felt that our loved one would receive more one on one care and stimulation. This community was wonderful and me and my loved ones felt good about this community.
I definitely would recommend this facility to other families. The staff is terrific and seemed to be knowledgeable. They are very nice. The facility itself is secured. Patients are free to roam in an open space. The only locked space is the exit and entrance. They are very cleaned and organized with everything. They have a dedicated caregiver for each tenant and a person responsible for getting them up, clean and dress up, and someone to take care of the cleanliness of the room. This is a nice community for care. The staff are nice, but they lack communication when it comes to keeping me informed on changes. We like the activiites that are listed for those who want to participate. We would suggest that families take a tour for the care of a loved.
Beautiful and convenient location, with several choices for level of service. We liked the layout of the shared rooms very much. We ended up finding a location closer to the family with very similar amenities and selected that instead.
This place charges a lot and half the time, the resident doesn’t get the care they pay for. Recently moved our loved one out to a new facility (and cost less) and he is so much happier. No problems at all like he was having at Country House in Granite Bay. No more constant phone calls of incidents and the new facility knows how to work with people with dementia and Alzheimer’s unlike Country House. So thankful we were able to remove him from this toxic place that says they care but it’s really all about the $$$
