The chicken and dumplings looks like yesterday's warmed up. The beans were dry almost to refried bean level. The meatloaf was brown and hard on the edges. The fish was virtually batter with little fish. So disappointed will never get anything else from there again. Spent $85 on junk, I know things are tight for everyone but geez I guess it will be pizza from now on.
They have this new Signature Fried Apple French Toast Bake on the Fall Menu to die fall. I don’t have a sweet tooth but their butter pecan syrup was not too sweet and it was just nice over the dish 🤩 The deco and store is awesome too, lots of vanity stuff to look out for. The cast iron pans is what I’m getting 👍 Great staff service and Lori was amazingly awesome 🙌 Happy Sunday
Over-priced food was average, at best. Portions were meager. It took 40 minutes for our food to get to our table of five. When it did, two of us were missing parts of what we ordered. Corn muffins were dry. Biscuits tasted like preservatives. Gift ahop is fun but again over-priced. Never been to any Cracker Barrel before and we won't be going back.
This place has really good food, but it has horrible service. Having only a few (5-7 tables with diners), they take almost 1 hour to serve your food after you order and waited for the server, and when it is served, some of it is cold. Not to mention that they forgot to serve us our muffins and cornbread. Today, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated with not that many tables with diners and being told three times that they had called them up to seat us (2 people). We stopped in Topeka Kansas and had to stay an extra night at the hotel due to snowy weather. We went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and also took home 2 of the 5 meals for dinner. The brave workers who came to work at Cracker Barrel were Wonderful! The fire was going and it was so nice to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere All of our food was delicious! The staff even gave us utensils to use for our take out food! The smokey chicken breast was scrumptious!
