Ordered breakfast. Biscuits and gravy with sausage. And the chicken fried steak and eggs. What an actual disgrace to southern cooking and breakfast. Sausage tasted fake. The biscuits were weirdly textured. And the gravy was inedible. The chicken fried steak had to have been frozen and fried. Food quality has gone down hill hard
Meatloaf Barrel Bite Duo small portions for the price and not warm. I understand the commute decreases temperature.
The corn is good but the steak is so hard can't eat and mash potatoes Cold as ice and hard as ice cube The greens are off the chain But no jelly butter or anything for biscuits
peach cobbler was small for the price in my opinion

Portion sizes are a joke and why order chicken fried steak if they cant even put gravy on it much less give you any at all talk about a disap Texas restaurant.
Short food broccoli was cut but not replaced with anything.Dumplings on mine was great.She had very little dumplings..I was happy but she was mad.But we are just traveling through.n
Very small portion for hashbowns and the amount of money charged. Tasted good but upset about portion for amount paid on all food but mainly the Loaded Hashbrown Casserole
The Chicken n' Dumplins were good as was the Homestyle Grilled Chicken BLT but the vegetable soups were all cool, not warm, not luke warm, but cooled off. The restaurant made the dasher wait because the food wasn't ready, so I dont understand why the soups were all practically gazpacho? Also, we've eaten at Cracker Barrel all through the midwest and south, but the Amarillo Cracker Barrel has the least flavorful cooking of any of the stores, and the food is inconsistent.
