Stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is great. Service was quick and efficient. The staff overall were great. The menu has some new items. I tried the Barrell Burger. It was cooked to order. Very hot & fresh. I definitely recommend if you want to try something different. At the time I went, they were offering the seasonal pie choices. The apple pie was fantastic. Cadiz has the best Cracker Barrel on the United States! I have been to so many locations throughout the south but NONE come close to the food and service at Cadiz location! They need an award cause I promise this the best one!
Another great stop at Cracker Barrel. As nearly always, the food and the service were spot on. Very nice parking in the back for our RV and tow while we ate. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken, and my wife had the Friday special Country Coastal Sample fish platter. We both enjoyed our meals in the nice AC given us respite from the hot summer day. Two thumbs up to our server, Kristy F. Very nice lady who served up our platters with a warm smile and friendly service.
Let me start by saying, it was way too cold in there. It took our food awhile to come out to us. But our waitress was very attentive and she did a good job taking care of our "finicky" needs.
Food was not good. Dumplings were old and dried out. Sent them back and got more of the same. Tasted them and they were just full of salt. Steak was not med rare, baked potato was okay. Waited at least 45 minutes to get food. Had to ask about the appetizers we ordered and got them only a few minutes before the food. Came there because I wanted dumplings, left disappointed!
