I guess there was a reason for the 92 health inspection grade on the wall at the host table. Upon arrival, service was slow and our orders incorrect. But worst than anything else were the dirty utensils and cups. We were guided to sit down at a dirty table with leftover spilled salt and crumbs on it. Guess the waitress didnt mind us having to use our bare hands to brush the dirty table off from someone elses leftovers because she sure didnt do anything to rectify it as she watched us. I had the pleasure of visiting Cracker Barrel for the first time ever, in North Carolina. Since the seats fill up fast, I went ahead and joined the waiting list online. It said that I had to wait 15 minutes. I headed inside,we were seated quickly and the hostess let us know the server’s name. Returned to the best breakfast spot around. Pancakes, bacon and hash brown casserole was cooked perfectly. Attentive waitress too.
Re: Cracker Barrel Roanoke Rapids NC My phone calls driving, to order took 12 minutes to get a Live person. Once I got one I thought she was answering her own home phone so unprofessional. She had no idea which special I was trying to order because she didn't want to go get a menu of the "New Special Meal Deals". Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being taken to this restaurant by my mom and stepdad. I cannot express how delighted I am that they introduced me to this place. The ambiance was wonderful, and I particularly enjoyed browsing through the various miscellaneous items available for purchase. The food itself was incredibly scrumptious.
