Ordered Cracker Barrel Classics Family Meal. I needed to feed 3-4 people. The portions were decent except for the scrambled eggs. It didn't seem to me there was enough to be a "family" size order. You would need two orders to feed any more than a family of 4 in my opinion. The food was cold when it arrived, except for the hashbrown casserole. I chalk that up to how long it took to arrive from the time of order (1.5 hours). Regardless, it is easy to reheat and tasted good.
Eggs in the Basket were not cooked properly. This makes2/2 meals from Cracker Barrel with unappetizing food
This food is really, really, really bad! The quality, taste, and ingredients that in the past made it a great choice are all gone! Rubbery tasting chicken fried steak, turnip greens taste like dish water, metallic tasting mashed potatoes and gravy....all of it horrible! We will NOT order again
The turkey was dry. Also the dressing was dry. Didn't get any cranberry sauce .
The catfish was great as were the apples and cornbread. The mashed potatoes were awful. They tasted 2 or 3 days old and were a big blob. Not soft or creamy. The pinto beans tasted burnt. The hush puppies were under cooked and stuck to the roof of my mouth. Money wasted. My husband didn't eat his either and agrees with my assessment.
Their food is always of good quality and taste amazing. I am concerned this time as I am not sure if it was packaging at the store or carelessness of the driver. Two containers were popped open and spilt all on the inside of the bag. Lost a side of dumplings and a side of mac and cheese.
I ordered the Country Fried Shrimp and the way they packaged everything was horrible and they literally separated each item that I ordered. Fries in one bowl, shrimp in one bowl and the three sides I ordered were also separated. Broccoli in one bowl, corn in one bowl and my loaded hash browns were in another bowl. They also forgot my fork and when I went to pick up my order I felt like the employees were kinda rude. They walk by you like 5 times and don't even ask if you need any help.
Did not receive hash brown casserole or cheese on grits (which was an extra cost)
I hate to be that guy but, man, this Homestyle Grilled Chicken Salad is full of wilted lettuce. Literally brown chunks of lettuce.
