Haven't been to Cracker Barrel in quite some time. It seems the food quality has either gone down hill or it was just this location. Ham was tough and difficult to eat, sausage wasn't much better. The hashbrown casserole had bits of hard potato. Not sure if they use dehydrated shredded potato and some stayed hard? I didn't mention it to server (Brittany) as I didn't want to complain. She was friendly and it's not her fault. However I did say something when I felt something scratch the roof of my mouth when eating the apples.... read more
In a nutshell I ate at Cracker Barrel when I was 12 and never went back. My wife loved them growing up so I knocked it to a poor experience. I took her out on a date for chicken fried steak, and I had chicken fried chicken Value- 9/10 Honestly you get what you pay for and that feels good in the wallet!!! Taste- 7/10 It is good but it's no real southern home meal, nothing against the business but my turnip greens would knock this one out of the park. Called in for a pick up order, and ordered a fried chicken sandwich. 🥪 with fries, after about 15-20 minutes I picked up my meal and it was fresh, hot and crispy! I enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich here.
Perfect spot to Boondock while traveling with my RV. Great food . Overnight RV allowed . Free wifi .
Going to Cracker Barrel is a treat for me. I was so excited to get the meatloaf which is my absolute favorite upon arrival. My meatloaf was so dry. I could not even be eaten my server took it back and said she would try to find something better and brought me another piece and it was ice cold like it had just literally came for the refrigerator.
