Usually the Hand-Breaded Fried Chicken Tenders are really good, but this order was terrible. It was all globs of breading and very little chicken. The worst meal I've had from Cracker Barrel.
Placed two orders for dumplings and fried apples for myself and a friend. The order was in one to go plate and the dumplings was mostly juice. We order there a lot and hate it this order wasnt worth the money we spent. Very let down.
I ordered the Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout (2), in 1 of the pics I shared, I had already taken out a piece of the Lemon Pepper Grilled Rainbow Trout . I ended up tossing out all of it because to me, and I grew up fishing consistently...the fish smelled fishy and not in a fresh nor appeasing way. And I love Trout.
This Cracker Barrel location in Lebanon NEVER has Vegetable Soup Bowl. Today they didn't have ANY soups. Even the dasher mentioned they weren't terribly busy inside.
Ordered from here a few times and its always been terrible. I use to work at cracker barrel when I was in college so I thought maybe the times I ordered they were having an off day. But I dont think that is the case anymore.
Hashbrown casserole was very undercooked, the eggs were mush and the gravy had a chemical flavor. No syrup for the pancakes or jelly for biscuits.
Hashbrown Casserole Tots did have any casserole ingredients. Ju plain tater tots.
Cracker Barrel obviously picks the worst of their product to send out to diner dash customers. Flat, over cooked biscuits, overcooked beef tips, and one of my shrimp was actually a fried pickle... with no pickle inside. No dressing for tenders, no sour cream for baked potato. I paid $24 for this one meal and I got the worst they had to offer. I paid $61 total for 1 adult meal and 2 kids Mac and cheese. That's a lot of money for such poor quality. I have given CB more than 1 chance. I won't order from them again.
No gravy for my potatoes and gravy. They were cold and hard as well. Meatloaf was bland and tiny which didnt really matter because I couldnt eat it. I ordered vegetable soup which was cold and got no spoon as well. No jam for my biscuits. Okra soggy from being smooshed into a container while hot
