disappointing food was all cold food was not up to our standards and was really rather gross.
French toast is burnt and they taste like the iron skillet. I bought THREE ordes of these so not very happy that we spent all this money and cant eat them ! The rest the food was good.
I do wish I had taken a photo this time. The Ice Tea was over an inch low in the cup (it did not appear to have been tampered with). The kids Scrambled Egg n’ Biscuit was actually an Egg Over Medium n Biscuit.. This has been a consistent issue when we've ordered this. The Biscuits were hard and dry. Cracker Barrel has good food but I wish the quality of the food would be consistent and that they'd actually get the orders right. You never know what you're going to get.
I ordered bacon mac n' cheese which hadn't come as advertised, the Turnip Greens looked like they had been scraped from the bottom of the pot, the Roast Beef tasted like it was cooked for 40 instead of 14. Buffalo Buttermilk Ranch Mac n' Cheese was gross but the chicken on it was okay.
Very disappointed in Cracker Barrel through Door Dash. The Chicken Pot Pie is cut into pieces and the crust does not taste good. They forgot my Peach Cobbler and sent me chicken noodle instead of vegetable Vegetable Soup Bowl
The Sirloin Steak Tips n' Tenders Family Meal Basket was a huge dissapointment. Steak was chewy and fatty, some pieces were undercooked and some were overcooked. The chicken was rubbery and not crispy. The broccoli came raw and not seasoned at all and the biscuits were dry and stale like they had been sitting on the counter since the morning. We typically like ordering from here but this was an expensive meal that nobody really enjoyed at all. Will not order again.
Arrived missing one order of cornbread muffins. Cornbread muffins were very dry. Chicken breast was dry. Coating was good. Potato hash brown loaded casserole was great. Turnip greens were meh. Mac and cheese was def not homemade. Peach cobbler also meh - used canned peaches and was overly sweet.
this is my opinion the chicken and dumplings the sauce was not thick enough too watery no flavor the turnip greens was too watery and flavorless but you have to try it for yourself to see if you like it
The beans are ok, though it never does come with sliced onion or chow-chow relish. I had ordered a pack of Cornbread Muffins (4) and received a six-pack of biscuits and only (2) corn Muffins.. not cool, cause the Build Your Own Homestyle Breakfast comes with biscuits and gravy.. not optional.. so thanks.. - Hungry
