Old style American food, excellent pancakes We stopped by for lunch enroute from Zanesville to Haverford, Pennsylvania. It has always been a pleasure to eat at Cracker Barrel. The ambience is traditional American. I loved the pancakes - made to perfection. Also love the merchandise - you have to walk through the store to the dining area and also on the way out - very smart....

Cracker Barrel: Always a Good Meal We have rarely been displeased with Cracker Barrel restaurants. Some of the new menu items are really good (I love the new bbq chicken breast with the chutney) The wait staff was friendly and did a great job.
not too shabby Our server was really great. My daughter, who is 3, was eating off of the kid's menu. I had a salad and gave her my cherry tomatoes. Mixed review My husband and I had mixed reviews on the CB. I had a hot turkey sandwich and loved it. He had turnip greens and beans, and thought the greens were not cooked very well. Our service was very good. For the price you get a nice meal.
Cracker Barrel in name only The food and service where below average, stayed across the street so this was just for convenience. Was in Myrtle Beach SC the week before and got a taste of what Cracker Barrel can truly be, this was a total let down in comparison . Unfortunately we did not see the Bob Evans until we where on the way out....
