Alexis was EXCEPTIONAL! We ordered the Grandmother breakfast with pancakes which were delish as we're the variety of meats. However, the signature Hashbrown Casserole was still crunchy! Alexis asked if I wanted something else instead but I had put my eggs on top of the casserole because they were runny and I don't like to waste food! Disappointed and surprised!
We brought about 55 people from CHS here after a Robotics Competition in Auburn. We called at the beginning of the week and then called before arriving. Cracker Barrel was slammed that night due to it being Valentine’s Day, but the manager, Corinthia, told us to come on. When we arrived, around 7:45, they seated us in the back immediately. Easter Sunday brunch. At the hostess stand, we were told about 20 minutes before we’d be seated. Actually took about five minutes. They were obviously very busy. We had the pleasure of being served by Eva. She was a new waitress as she had no stars on her apron, but we had a wonderful experience with her. Everyone stood around after I asked for assistance with a take out order. Three people passed me and never asked me if I needed help with anything. Someone finally came out to take my order and I asked for a change in the skillet order With chicken. I asked if there could be a minor substitution made only because my wife can't eat corn and they wouldn't do it. Excellent chicken and dumplings and several other items. The store is just too crowded for ALL the folks in there. I couldn’t relax and look at stuff for the people and the racks and glass stuff is all too close together. Usually nice items to shop for, but I couldn’t get to them. Service was good. It was really crowded so if something was slow it was ok.
