Ok Cracker Barrel y'all need to get your act together. I was there at 3:00 pm and they were out of their entree for the day, Chicken and Rice among other things. The biscuits were not Cracker Barrel standard. They were small and hard. My smoked grilled chicken breast was good as was the fried okra and hashbrown casserole.
Great place with delicious food and great customer service! People are very nice and friendly. For was fresh and delicious. Nice store with great stuff.
As always, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store scored big time! Gotta tell ya, the chicken fried chicken was killer! Two HUGE hand battered chicken breasts, fried to perfection, with just the right amount of batter! The portion was so big I couldn't finish it and had to bring half a breast home! The appetizer was kind of disappointing. The loaded fries consisted of about ten steak fries with a scant amount of bacon and cheese. I expected better, although the small amount we did get was good. Most of the Food was great, service was phenomenal, the atmosphere is catered more for the elderly or those who adore the old fashioned type of lifestyle. They play country music on the speakers and even have a front porch with rocking chairs. I ordered baked apples, grits, and hashbrown casserole.
