I ordered 2 dinners,tonight I chose to eat the Roast beef with mashed potatoes with brown gravy and carrots and the fresh made butter milk biscuits the Roast beef was so tender it almost melted in my mouth, and the biscuits so fresh and moist!! better than my grandmother ever made. if your a fan of slow cooked roast beef with all of the fixens then cracker barrel is the place to go!!!.
the food was over cooked and pretty dry .it was not a cheap meal and we are not happy
I had the roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes and steamed baby carrots and home made biscuits always excellent and the half gallon of sweet tea was done right.
The Barrel Cheeseburger was delicious and the chocolate cake was moist and delicious also.
It was just kind of boring. The pancakes were overcooked and chewy.

More dumplings than chicken, and the carrots were undercooked. Those potatoes though, those potatoes are awesome.
The Chicken Fried Steak was DELICIOUS! I wished the potatoes would have had just a tad more gravy but they were delicious too, YUMMY!
