My family has always loved eating here. Our meal with the exception of the biscuits was very good. The biscuits have always been a favorite. Sadly the last two meals we've ate here the beautiful fluffy biscuits of the past apparently are gone. These biscuits are flat and hard. May as well use them as a hockey puck. Waitress both times said they're making them different now. How sad!
I normally have no complaints about this store. However, not sure what was going on this day with our waitress. We waited forever for her to come to our table. When she finally did we gave her our whole order. Shortly after she brought the appetizer out... but no drinks... we ate our appetizer and she basically ran away to the front. Food was delicious as always. Most of the employees were so friendly except our waitress. She seemed bothered when we asked for drink refills, more biscuits or when my mother asked to add a meal (to-go, to take home to her husband) Besides that, the rest of the atmosphere was great!! They always have adorable kids apparel in the shop. I love the merchandise with sea turtles and the toddler accessories. Highly recommend you give them a try
My son and I went to supper at approximately 6:15 pm on Wednesday, February 27th. We were told the food would take about 45 minutes due to a shortage of kitchen staff. We decided to stay. The waitress was very attentive and did her best to apologize for the delay. However, 45 minutes turned into an hour and a half. The food was good but not hot. Definitely not up to their normal standards.
Worst take out experience ever. Making matters worse I tipped them 15% when ordering. Seems they lost the order, then threw together salads with half the stuff just to get it out after 45 minute wait past time they said to pick up. Ordered beans and greens……beans were dry and inedible, greens were cold. A few of the service people seemed to be understanding and some were actually rude.
