Good for small groups I came here after visiting a funeral home. There were 8 of us and we came at about 9 o'clock in the night and it wasn't very busy. The waiter was a nice gentleman and got our orders in right away. I ordered a half pound bacon cheeseburger and it was delicious. I recommend this place for groups of about...
Love the Rainbow Trout The Rainbow Trout is by far my favorite meal at Cracker Barrel. I love visiting cracker barrel for sweet tea and classic southern cooking. It's great when traveling. The only thing I don't like is the corn bread muffins.
Great Family Restaurant On our way back to DC after visiting Gettysburg, we stopped in at the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Frederick, MD. Being from California, where we don't have Cracker Barrels, it was nice to be able to treat my grandchildren to some "down home" dining. Cracker Barrels are certainly not gourmet restaurants but they understand their family orientation and do a...
Not the best tonight Server was friendly. Food was hot and tasty but we had to wait forever for our dinners. The manager came over to apologize that the kitchen messed up our dinner. There was only 2 of us. We had to wait a long time for our dinner. I thought for the mistake that was made and for the extra time we...
A nice family place to go with good food The food is always good and you receive plenty. We have never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel and on occasion order take out meals for dinner ( meatloaf, green beans, and mashed potatoes is our favorite). The coffee is the best in the area and you have a quaint old fashioned General Store area to puruse.
Can't Go Wrong with Cracker Barrel Breakfast Though it was super congested (no maneuvering space in the country store) with after-church Sunday crowd, it was worth the wait. You can't go wrong with having a breakfast food at Cracker Barrel. For the lunch and dinner selections, I'd recommend baked sweet potato and hash brown casserole for the sides. Skip the country green beans. They always overcook it...
Slow sevice good food My family and I went here for dinner and its was not the best. We usally come here a lot and its great. we sat down ordered and then our food came out and the orders were wrong my mom and grandma didnt get the right pancakes and my anut didnt get her toast i didnt get my hash browns....
Country cuisine My all time favorite chain. Breakfast can't be beat. Plenty of choices for lunch and dinner. Price is low, value is high. Country cuisine features a lot of salt and sugar as well as fried food. Recently there are heathier options to choose from, e.g. No sugar apple pie. I like the pot roast, catfish, pork BBQ and breakfasts with...
Redo We ate here a while ago and had so much that went wrong including hot coffee spilled all over my husband and the high chair that my son was just minutes taken out of (talking about a close call) the manager came over and said we could come back a dinner was on the house. (We paid for the dinner...
