Just mediocre. It's been years, and I guess I just fondly remember everything being much better. Bland biscuits and gravy, lukewarm coffee, and indifferent service combined to make this an entirely forgettable meal. I would predict it will be years before I feel the urge again.
When we arrived we had to wait longer than others to be waited on, we asked for biscuits while we waited and then had to ask again. We had to request for refills. When getting ready to leave, we asked for a to go drink and was brought a children's size cup. If drinks are going to be $3.49 a drink to go should be in an adult size cup. The food was good, however the size of the pancakes seem to have gotten smaller.
We eat breakfast several times a month at this cracker barrel. The food is always piping hot and delicious. Our server, Sissy, was spot on keeping our drinks filled and making sure we had everything we needed. She's super woman. She even remembers what we order!
Dirty tables everywhere. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It had maybe 2 tbsp. Shredded cheese, no hard-boiled egg (per description on menu), waitress set our order on a table covered in dirty dishes before setting down in front of us. No pride in their work there.
We stopped at the Cracker Barrel at Brooks, KY and I-65, for breakfast. We were greeted and seated quickly. We received our food in a pretty timely manner however, it wasn't hot! The eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and gravy were more like lukewarm and that's being generous, more on the cold side actually. The biscuits were hard and also on the colder side.
