Really nice staff and very good food. You get a lot of food here for a decent price. My family and I love this place, we visit it all the time. Shout out to Calla, she was my waitress last time I visited and she was super sweet, friendly, and took great care of us. (Cold Spring KY location.) Don't mind how small the food portion looks in my 2nd photo, I already ate half of it before I remembered I wanted to take a photo LOL
Stopped in today (25 May 25) for dinner, just my wife and I Got seated immediately; the restaurant was about 50% capacity. Got our drinks (sweet tea) and placed our dinner order, to include onion petals appetizer. I ordered chicken fried steak, my wife ordered the two piece chicken dinner with a salad. She got her salad within 10 minutes, but it also had RAW bacon in it. Took over 30 minutes to get the onion petals, and they were lukewarm at best. Usually I am a big fan of Cracker Barrel, but I have been to this location a handful of times and sometimes the food and the service has been fine and other times the food and/ or the service isn’t great! I have had a few burnt pancakes there, messed up orders that we kept having to send back. Just for warning you if you have any kind of seafood allergy do not come to cracker barrel because they do deep fry their seafood with in the same fries that they deep fry their other items. I found a shrimp in my onion petals and I am allergic to shellfish manager came out to tell me that they can do that and that I it was my fault that I did not warn the waitress about my shell food allergy. Will be contacting the board of health and the district manager about this problem.
