Really nice staff and very good food. You get a lot of food here for a decent price. My family and I love this place, we visit it all the time. Shout out to Calla, she was my waitress last time I visited and she was super sweet, friendly, and took great care of us. (Cold Spring KY location.) Don't mind how small the food portion looks in my 2nd photo, I already ate half of it before I remembered I wanted to take a photo LOL
Worse pot roast we have see and taste look like stew with big pics meat few pics carrots and mush potato our food don’t look like picture ? food not alway good our senior meet up group agree Cashiers was nice
Our server Giovanni was very unenthusiastic. As soon as we sat down they asked “what do you want to drink” with an attitude. Then asked “what do you want” for our order when we said we weren’t ready they walked off without saying anything. They came back and said “do you know now.” On top of all of this our food was served uncooked. We were unable to eat any of our bacon. I normally have great service at cracker barrel so this was very upsetting.
My chicken and dumplings was not hot. Gosh the turnip Greens biscuits Pinto beans broccoli all excellent. I had the nicest server. She's a small lady. She is an older lady like me and I don't know how she carries those heavy dishes. And please don't follow me around in the store. I noticed a young girl over in the corner and I didn't pay any attention to her and when I got to the front of the store, she was right there Picking things up looking at stuff. When we got seated, our waitress took foreverrrr to come say hello to us so by the time she came by we already knew what we were ordering. Was pretty busy per usual, but the crowding with the seats was a little ridiculous. You could tell that waitress’ had quite a few tables they were working. Didn’t take too too long to receive our food. My food was fine but my wife ordered a medium rare steak and egg (over medium) breakfast meal with hashbrowns.
