campfire chicken was bland
The Campfire Chicken was horrible will not get again! It was steamed too long the chicken was burnt, soggy and fell apart so did the vegetables! It was a packet of wet soggy/burnt mush and it didn't used to be that way shame. I do like their sweet tea and biscuits though.
Not enough food to justify price.
I got the family breakfast meal.... I don't recommend it. The eggs had an odd taste and texture. The pancakes were weirdly thin. Lastly the bacon tasted almost fake and was so hard it was challenging for my child to eat. I can't rate the potatoes properly because I added hot sauce to give it some flavor.
The biscuits were burned and someone put the cake in with Campfire Beef and it melted the cake (which also tasted burnt!)
I should get my money back on this meal . My chicken taste like it's been sitting around for four hours very dried out.
The grandma sampler was disappointing. The strawberry syrup tastes old. The pancakes are mid and the portions of everything are small. The fresh strawberries I ordered weren't fresh.
I had the Campfire Beef. I ordered it numerous times last summer. Sometimes it was good. Other times over seasoned or dried out. When it was good it was very good. Unfortunately today's order was so dried out it was ineatable. There was no broth to moisten it and the veggies were mush. It had evidently been made early and kept warm till it completely dried out and overcooked.
