I mean, it's Cracker Barrel! I don't think I've ever had a bad meal there in my life! But this new menu they have is delicious! I had the new Shrimp and Grits Skillet. It was so much better than I thought it would be. I know CBS new menu has a Cajun influence, but I didn't export them to pull it off so well. First off, so many shrimp! I ordered 2 over med eggs, well done bacon and toast with coffee and tea. The eggs were almost raw as well as the bacon. She brought my food which was undercooked and cold and I had to wait another 10 minutes before she brought my toast. She never once refilled my drinks or asked how anything was. Was not anywhere close to being worth the &15.08 I was charged.
Met my sister, dad, brother and sister in law for wonderful breakfast. We had come to town for my mom's celebration of life service. This was a great way to fellowship on my way back to SC. The food was fresh and the server was very friendly.
Sunday 12:30pm Seated without a wait - should have recognized this as a rating from the local after church crowd. Very friendly employees or the rating would have been lower. Waited quite awhile for the server to appear to take our drink order and for refills. Food appeared pretty quickly - even before the appetizer which appeared as we were finishing the meal.
