As much as I would love to love this place, every time I come to here I’m slightly disappointed. Mainly, because of what I have experienced at other places. First you inevitably must wait in a line through a crowded country store, 5 minutes -30 minutes if lucky. But then you must wait for a busy waitress to come by and ask offer a drink, 5 minutes to 10 minutes, if you are lucky. Now instead of better it goes downhill a bit more. Love this place gives a warm holiday spirit. I love the little gift shop gives you something to do while you wait to be seated. Ranges from jewelry to candy’s and trading cards. Chicken fried chicken never disappoints and the sides are immaculate, gotta love the old country vibes.
The staff and servers at Cracker Barrel are always very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant was no different when it came to that. However, my wife and I were very disappointed in what came next. After our server took our drink order, we looked at the weekend specials. We were there on a Sunday at 3:30pm and the Sunday specials were the 'Southern Fried Chicken' dinners. I love going to Crackle Barrel every weekend, however this past weekend we were not able to make it so I ordered pick-up. The 2 stars I put was only because the meal was made on time except they didn't have an item I ordered so they replaced it. Once we got home I was excited to eat my meal untill I opened the container and tasted the food.
