As much as I would love to love this place, every time I come to here I’m slightly disappointed. Mainly, because of what I have experienced at other places. First you inevitably must wait in a line through a crowded country store, 5 minutes -30 minutes if lucky. But then you must wait for a busy waitress to come by and ask offer a drink, 5 minutes to 10 minutes, if you are lucky. Now instead of better it goes downhill a bit more. I love going to Crackle Barrel every weekend, however this past weekend we were not able to make it so I ordered pick-up. The 2 stars I put was only because the meal was made on time except they didn't have an item I ordered so they replaced it. Once we got home I was excited to eat my meal untill I opened the container and tasted the food. Food is delicious and prices are great! What made the experience enjoyable was our server Natalia. She convinced us to try the onion appetizer and the cinnamon roll pie both were great. She had a very friendly attitude and seemed to actually enjoy working. Can’t say the same for the hostess who was not only rude but was obviously in a bad mood and very sarcastic. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name. Other than that our experience was enjoyable and we will be returning soon.
Love this place gives a warm holiday spirit. I love the little gift shop gives you something to do while you wait to be seated. Chicken fried chicken never disappoints and the sides are immaculate, gotta love the old country vibes.
