We have ordered twice from this Cracker Barrel in Mesquite, and both times orders were bungled and items were missing. Chicken fried steak and roast beef both had a lot of gristle. Mashed potatoes were tasteless and now include skins. We requested corn muffins both times, but received biscuits. Requested country gravy, received brown gravy once. Requested no gravy, still received brown gravy once. Disappointing because we have never had a bad experience with Cracker Barrel prior to ordering from this one in Mesquite.
Store was out of Cinnamon Roll Pie and just wrote a note "don't have". Hmm. No call to get a replacement? Also have to see if the charge was removed. Hand-Breaded Fried Chicken Tenders had BBQ sauce on them, not my favorite. All else was tasty.
my eggs were over cooked and cold and bacon was under cooked and cold
the 2 eggs were more like one egg on both orders. did not get the sugar free syrup that was requested..Also ordered 2 extra eggs because I knew they would be short on the eggs. those 2 eggs were also short, more like one egg.
I ordered the chicken fried chicken and did not get any gravy. The amount of steak fries they gave me wouldn't accommodate a child. Two thumbs down. I wont be order from here again.
We did not receive syrup, butter or utensils. The eggs were so overcooked er could not cut them.had to pull into bites with our hands. The peach cobbler was nothing but peaches. No crust,no goo, just sliced peaches.
My chicken was burnt at the bottom very upsetting.
The food was all stale like it had been under a heat lamp for hours. The only thing that tasted good was the hashbrown casserole.
We're not going to order from this location again. Three times in a row they have made mistakes on our order, including sending us the entirely wrong food in the bag with my name on it.
