Complaining Waitress is Also Incompetent We visited the Lindale (Tyler) Texas Cracker Barrel on Mother's Day. It is about a half hour drive from our home, so we really are taking a field trip to get there. They seated us near a huge group of people. Service not up to par We have eaten at many Cracker Barrels in different parts of the country, and at this local one many, many times. Lately, it seems the service is below acceptable standards and I hope the management takes notice. Poor service This is probably the worst Cracker Barrel you will go to. The service is not good, food is sub-par, and they just don't seem to care. Crowded and noisy Its Ok if you have lots of time. It takes a while to get your food. Dont try it on a lunch hour. The last time I was there it took two hrs to get our meals.
