The place may have been short staffed. Was a little hard to get plastic wear cause there was no silverware. Food came out and I was left waiting. Chicken friend steak was dry and almost tasted re-cooked. (Not fresh at all)
So disappointed with my order this morning that I have to leave a review. I ordered the Grandpas Brkfst with gravy on side and 2 Biscuits. I did not get the gravy or 2 biscuits. I received pancakes and I did not order them. The biscuits and gravy was the reason I ordered from CB. Food was not good or tasty. Be carful if you order online.
Disappointing. We made a reservation online, arrived and waited 30 minutes for a table, which was understandable. However, it took another 30 minutes for our order to be taken, and over an hour for the food to arrive. Unfortunately, when it did, the food was inedible. The service was extremely slow. 40 minutes in, the server dropped off 3 biscuits with apple butter to the table. Very long wait time for food. Didn’t have one of the items we both ordered waited until everything was out then told us they were out and to pick another. Ordered the pot roast because it had peas and carrots with it got the pot roast and only one carrot. Waitress was very good, everyone was friendly like you expect from Cracker Barrel but kitchen staff was not up to par. Second time at this location same experience both times
When we arrived there were maybe 12 customers and 80% of the tables were empty. Not busy at all. But the 2 of us sat and waited for a server for a little over 10 minutes. I had to approach the hostess to request that we get some water or service of some kind. She advised me that the server didn't see us. The food was fresh and accurately served afterward. Overall, I think they could do better with serving properly, but we left with full bellies.
