I’ve heard about this restaurant so many times and finally decided to try it. My family was in town and we wanted brunch. It was really packed and we had to wait for about an hour. It’s a different restaurant for sure! They have an area where you can get old school candy and decorations and miscellaneous items. I found some records I had been looking for and Chico sticks. Second time at this place and this time with friends from Canada. As you wait for you ir table, the place has a beautiful store full of options of souvenirs to decorate your home. The food is super tasteful and very typical for locals with so many options to choose. We went for a Sunday lunch this time and the service was pretty awful. We had to ask our biscuit and they sent 4 bread for 7 people in the table, also the food tooked too long, and the waitress was not at all friendly. This is how I started my Valentine's day. With breakfast egg yolk splatter. I never post unless its positive but due to the chicken egg struggle, I hate that my egg was unavailable for my consumpion as a paying customer. Also the ham portion was less than the size of the sausage patty, not comparable. Not sure if I will revisit via take out.
This might be the worst Cracker Barrel I have ever eaten in. I love Cracker Barrel but, this one is not up to standards. The kitchen is not following recipes as the Green Beans (which I usually rank as top 3 franchise green beans) tasted watered down at best. Everything came out looking chincy. Total satisfaction. This location did not disappoint. I had the chicken pot pie. The crust was perfectly brown and crispy on the outside. The bottom side was kissed by the chicken, vegetables, and chicken gravy. The service was spectacular. The atmosphere made me emotionally attached to autumn. Firing on all cylinders. We'll run machine.
