Great breakfast and mostly friendly service. French toast and eggs were delicious. They offer Impossible (veg based) breakfast sausage which was an unexpected surprise. Went on two weekday mornings while staying at hotel nearby, no wait for seating and place was pretty empty.
Great food, and the store is awesome! The big easy steak and shrimp were good, but they needed a bit more cajun flavor. Once done eating, relax in the rocking chairs before hitting the road.
We stopped at this Cracker Barrel for dinner but ordered breakfast. Our server was very attentive but it took a long time to get our food. When we finally did, we enjoyed our meals. The country store part of the restaurant was fun to browse around. They have so many interesting and unique items.
I wasn't going to leave feedback but since I got a second request from you here it is. We waited for food for atleast 45min if not more. Food was COLD! Mashed potatoes we cold and hard and hard. Pot pie was dry with potatoes that were cold and clumped up with meat. Over easy eggs also cold!! Like they kept out food under warmer for who knows how long. Just a horrible experience. Very unhappy. Waited seemed nice and helpful but kitchen needs serious help.
We had the smaller portion on an early bird offer. As senior citizens, there was just the right amount of food. Everything was delicious. I am really tired of having a BIG meal, at a more expensive price, and having to take half of it home. For $9.50, the price was right, the food was delicious, and we will be taking advantage of this offer for as long as Cracker Barrel offers it.
