It's Cracker Barrel on a Sunday... food was good, as usual, seasoned just right and arrived quick and hot. We were seated near a larger, loud party, at a table for 4 though we were a table of 5, even though there were round tops available, so not sure what was up with that. It’s incredibly rare to see any served food actually look like the picture in a menu, sign, or poster. They did it at this Cracker Barrel and it tasted even better than it looked! I highly recommend the Southern Smoky Grilled Chicken Platter. It was marked as “Items under 600 calories and 15 grams of fat or less.” That along with an Arnold Palmer (half and half mix of lemonade and iced tea) were the perfect end to a way too long day at work. The service was good here, and they did what they could. There was a supremely dissatisfied customer that made themselves known to the entire staff and every customer in the store. The manager handled it professionally and quickly in my opinion. We showed up an hour and a half before closing. The men's restroom needed some attention, and a deep clean. We never get our points on our app because it refuses to work at any of the Cracker barrel locations that we go to. I sign in, I scan the bill and from there it just spins. After I repeatedly do this at least 5 or 6 times sometimes it will accept my payment and acknowledge my presence but most of the time it will not. I have asked associates at every Cracker Barrel and no one seems to know anything about what it might be causing the problem. What good is this app if it doesn't work?
If you want a smile on your face go see Mary at this location! She is just outstanding! It’s rare to have a server to lovely and helpful and sweet! She gets 10 stars. I honestly am blown away! The food is great as well. Manager came by to say hi. Very great spot here while we’re in town.
