just good food It's been a long time since I've eaten at a cracker barrel. I take 2 or 3 long road trips each year since I retired 7 years ago. Also, at least one long road trip almost every year I was working. I have always tried to stay away from Cracker Barrel because I always though they were just roadside dives....
Always great Reasonalbe prices, friendly and helpful staff and the food keep this one on my must list when in the area. The best Country Fried Steak I've had. Will be back again and again. :)

Dumplings and more Whenever I stop near NAS Jax for a few days, I make it a necessary stop for Cracker Barrel's chicken n dumplings in Orange Park. You cant go wrong with CB, but a bad location The food and service were top notch just like you would expect however this location is hard to get to. Its easy to see but its off the beaten path when it come to location and the hotels around it are being demolished/renovated so the road in a worn but the restaurant itself is still great!
Old country food Great service as usual. I always have liked this establishment and they didn't disappoint. It a bit hidden but not difficult to find.
