You need to retire this turkey dinner special. Not a single part of this meal was even close to as tasty as Bob Evans counterpart. Small portions. Instant-like dressing. Small portions ( except for the dressing). And Bob Evans turkey dinner isn't exactly great. Not ordering again.
Potatoes were a little dry in both meals.
The Southern Fried Chicken was either overcooked or sat for some time. It was extremely dry and crust was hard to eat. The bacon mac and cheese was also so dry that I couldn't choke it down. The biscuits and fried apples were tasty however the rest made me give this a thumbs down.
I always love Cracker Barrell but the hash brown casserole tasted awful, literally had to spit it out. Same with the green beans. Awful, no idea what in the world was going on. Just not edible.
Meatloaf was burnt and the corn bread was hard
I ordered the Friday Only Fish Fry . The description said 4 pieces of fish and 2 sides plus tartar sauce. The fish pieces was very small and the steak fries was few. I paid over $20.00 with tip. I will not do that again. This daily special was not worth it.
The meatloaf was burnt and I ordered mash potatoes with no gravy but received mash potatoes with brown gravy. The receipt shows that the mash potatoes was ordered without gravy
I ordered the **TUESDAY ONLY** Country Fried Pork Chops the pork chops and the House Salad were very good but the rest of the order not so much. The bake potato was not fresh and even though I had ordered loaded there were very little toppings. The hash brown casserole was dry and inedible and was probably leftover from breakfast. Stick to the House Salad and chops.
The Big Easy Steak and Shrimp meal was the worst meal I've ever had from Cracker Barrel. The steak was not cooked med well, had no flavor, dry and very tough. The rest of the meal was good. I certainly won't order again. Also paid a rather high price for this particular meal.
