Not enough can be said about Craig and his team. This is my fourth transaction with Craig and all have gone smoothly without any delays in closing. The team is helpful and makes sure I provide all the documentation. I can always count on Craig to respond quickly to any correspondence I send. We have used Craig and his staff for every loan since probably 2003. Over the years they have seen the ups and downs associated with what life throws at you. His staff has worked magic making the process as easy as buying a home could be. They have also provided us over the years with advice on multiple scenarios including refinance options and a possible lake house purchase. We keep coming back because we truly trust them and the information they give us.

The one thing that I would have liked is better communication during the mortgage loan process. This was our first time to buy a home and we had a lot of questions. Our questions would often go unanswered. Or we would tell you about an error on our loan application and then it wouldn’t be fixed(Ex: mixing up my prior address with my husband ad’s prior address). Everything else was great.

Craig has always been a great communicator; he always explains to me what I don’t understand. Craig is the reason I give this a great rating. Rebecca is helpful, but often drops the ball. Kelly was rude and standoff-ish to me and my parents on many occasions.

We loved our first meeting with Craig and thought he gave great advice and loads of information. Lending Edge also did an amazing job getting us prequalified and processing our mortgage at high speed! Our biggest issue was the communications cycle; sometimes it felt like we got the same email from three different people and at other times, it seemed like no one had seen the emails and questions we sent. A more prompt and clear communications chain would put this group over the top!

This was not your dry, unfriendly, fill this out and we’ll get back to you banking experience. From the minute I called, Craig was helpful and informative, providing proposed contracts with different rates and lengths of time. From there Craig and his team went to work and provided me with almost daily updates on the whole process. Within just a few weeks we were closing.
