What can I say about MRC Creekside? How am I qualified to review this company? First off my wife opened this facility when it was new about 10+ years ago. She was employed with the company as a Medication Aid and only left the company to continue to grow our young family. She worked in the medical field for over 16 years and worked in every facility in this area during that time. The cleanest, most professional, high level senior care in Huntsville.
My 100 yr old grandmother has been sent to Creekside by the hospital. She is recovering from a broken hip. She doesnt usually cooperate very well with physical therapists. However. The ones at creekside have coaxed her into cooperating and she seems better. We have been searching for 2 days for a nursing home since she cannot return to her assisted living. My father was at Creekside for therapy. They always had various activities for him to enjoy. He especially enjoyed the music and dance groups that came in. The staff was incredible and he never had any complaints. He couldn’t wait to leave but he enjoyed it while he was there.
Since I haven't had experiences with other nursing homes I would have to give it a 3/5. My 85 year old mother is in there for two broken wrists. She will be there about 6 more weeks. As far as the expense I was surprised to see it is ONLY $157 a day before insurance! They have satisfactory nursing staff but polite for the most part.
