Today I had a new dental technician, Melanie. She made me feel really comfortable. I have a LOT of trauma associated with dentists mostly from my childhood and some in adulthood. Today I discovered what a jaw blocker is. It holds your mouth open without putting pressure in your jaw. I have mild to moderate TMJ and this blocker did wonders for me. 50 plus years of going to about a dozen different practices in 5 states and this is the first time anyone mentioned this device. Listen I love coming there and I don’t like dentist! I love everyone… there so accommodating in every way and always make things right no questions asked. Been going here for 8-9 years and my grandkids as well. There never scared or worried, and never had a cavity in there 9 and 12 years of age!
