Front desk staff need some extensive training on customer service and how to properly handle a client who is upset. Instead they simply offer to send your records elsewhere, and only care if you are cancelling your appointment this week so they can fill it. Don’t bring your limp 12 week old puppy in right when they open at 8am (because phones don’t turn on till 830… because that makes sense), they’ll just offer you an appt 6hrs from then; or tell you go to to the ER. I have been bringing pets here for 28 years. Today I brought in my dog Charley and we were greeted with a very less than enthusiastic tech. I asked her twice to give my dog treats when we first entered the room to ease her nervous energy (she’s a rescue) she literally told me no and proceeded to man handle my dog and force her up on the scale. I have taken my pets to Crossroads forever. My dog had an emergency last year and they told me at 3:00 they couldn’t see him and to go to an Emg vet which I did and switched to Countryside Vet at that time .. my cat was still going to crossroads and Dr kulhanek was wonderful and I just had to have him put down. I got a new kitten called to make an appt and girl said they had no appts until June and I said he needs an appt for his shots. She said can’t help maybe go somewhere else. absolutely appalling that we have been going here for almost 16 years, they have seen our dog since he was 6 weeks old. he is now 11. yet now at the end of his life in his time of need they refused to see him.. we were very nonchalantly told to keep calling each morning for a cancelation. when I mentioned I felt he needed to be euthanized i was simply told to find an animal hospital. was never asked what was wrong or offered any help. seems absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't squeeze him in over the next day or two.. ... read more

Their newest vet is incompetent and inexperienced and now I can confidently say the same desk their desk help. (MONEY MONEY MONEY.......MONEY). Due to this vet’s sheer incompetency, one of our beloved furry family members passed. To think, I considered them to be somewhat less aggressive/greedy than a vast majority of vets in the state.
