The reviews looked good and both the hostess and the waiter said the fajitas were amazing... but the fajitas weren't anything to write home about or to come back for. They were tasty, but no better than Lupe Tortillas or TaMolly's and they were pricey. The fire shrimp and the sea bass were also tasty. Our small party didn't try any of the steaks, but the prices will keep us from coming back.
We decided to try Culpeppers for our anniversary on Valentine's Day, which might've been our mistake. We were so crammed into that restaurant that you were almost on top of each other. I'm hoping they just did that for Valentine's Day so they could accommodate more people and this is not going to be the standard. We came to Culpeppers for the brunch on Valentine's Day. We did make reservations and were seated rather quickly upon our arrival. The atmosphere is cute and cozy. The brunch layout was a little different. Overall, the food was good however, the options were limited if you are gluten-free. The mimosa and bloody mary bar is a cute unique idea that sets apart this restaurant from other breakfast buffets.
