I had a laminectomy & spinal fusion by Dr Park at Beaumont, after 2 1/2 yrs of trying chiropractic, massage, spinal injections, PT, acupuncture & meds for pain relief of chronic back & awful leg nerve pain (at U-M and St Joe's hospitals 1st). Once deciding on surgery, Dr Park was highly recommended & deserves all his 5 stars! He's an excellent, knowledgeable & skilled surgeon, with a great bedside manner. My sciatica leg pain instantly disappeared and my back healed steadily after surgery.

Had Lumbar Fusion on 5/24/17 and could not have gone better. Dr. Park is an excellent and compassionate communicator with which I was immediately comfortable with. He diagnosed my issue correctly where others had not. All but Dr. Park blamed my leg numbness on Peripheral Neuropathy when the real issue was Spinal Stenosis and severe compression of the spinal cord. Now, just 6 weeks after surgery, I can walk again without numbness or pain. Truly a miracle in my opinion. Highly recommended.

My experience with Dr Park for spine surgery was excellent. He was helpful, informative, and patient when I was in the process of deciding to have the surgery. The surgery was successful, with immediate relief and usage of my right shoulder arm and hand. Healing timely. Thankful for such a skilled , and yet considerate , physician.

I had back surgery (L3-L5 laminectomy with fusion) on 1-May 2017, and at just less than 3 weeks, I am very pleased with the results! I was walking with assistance 1 day after surgery, and with low post-op pain. I was discharged from the hospital on the 3rd day after surgery. Everyone I came across both before and after the surgery think VERY HIGHLY of Dr Park, as do I! Dr Park is excellent at explaining the situation, cause, and options. Dr Park is the best!

My fusion went off without a hitch and Dr Park knows his stuff. Sent a few friends to him and he is helping them as well.
