This whole process took an extraordinarily long time which wasn't under anyone's real control, but during the value review process I sent several emails to multiple people at Mutual of Omaha and never received any responses on any of them. Also because of the amount of time it took (which wasn't a fault of mine) I had to pay for the rate extension lock which seems wrong. I wish they would have just looked up what the rates were presently insteaed of paying over $2k for a rate extension lock.

Darren was very pleasant but at times I felt dismissed and as though I had to push back to get some questions answered or information I wanted. The first CD I received didn't use the title company I had requested and there were a few errors. Everyone involved was really responsive at first but after I signed the first(incorrect) CD it became more difficult to get a response and I had to follow up several times. Also had issue with the fees for point, processing and underwriting.

Customer Service is AWFUL! There is no communication above the process and what the status of your loan is. Reached out several times by email to not receive an answer-Daren Howard always responding quickly - didn't know the up to date answers on a few times. Karen Kennick always responded - Erin Oberacker was awful in responding. The poor communication caused me to pay extra fees due to not closing for 3 months. When I was finally contacted,I was able to act and get the information needed

Everything went pretty well until we got to document signing which had to be done twice ( not the notary’s fault). Now we were told our loan would close yesterday with cash to us being wired in and a check to payoff loan on Honda coming overnight to us. It is 10:35 am our time and we have called Darren, Kyle and Stacy to be sure the loan closed as we were told. No cash in bank, no check overnighted yet and NO ANSWER FROM ANY of the three!
