TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I really love to try out new places. I especially love to try out new places that serve food that I absolutely love like Nashville Hot Chicken. Nothing special about this chicken. Strips are crispy but dry on the outside. The ghost pepper seasoning is a joke it's not even spicy. Just not worth the price and servings. Would recommend other chicken places before Dave's
Went through the drive thru of Dave's Hot Famous Chicken. And ordered a Caroline Reaper slider, three mild tenders, and an extra mac and cheese. Totaling at $40 , I just KNEW this meal was going to be delicious and have that spice. I was disappointed , the chicken was covered in cayenne pepper that comes off on your hand after every bite.
