With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I finally had the opportunity to try the famous Dave's Hot Chicken. It was a clean and busy location. I did online order and dined outside. The bathroom was clean and the services was good. Me and the kiddos were pleased with the flavors of the different chicken meals we ordered. Very juicy and not overly seasoned. The fries were delicious with the perfect crunch. We ordered medium heat and it was extremely mild. Honestly, I would recommend this busy and will look for a location in my city.
they have great food and amazing fries. i hope it stays muslim friendly to attend to those customers who cannot eat kosher meat .
It was our first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and we loved it! We ordered the #3, chicken sandwich with one tender and fries, hot level and it was spicy but so delicious! Service was also amazing! Everyone is very nice and super attentive. Space is very limited inside so we grabbed a table outdoors. They also have pop rocks which is so nostalgic! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

absolutely my go to chicken place! the chickens are always very crispy and freshly hot. their meals are a decent ok price but everything about this restaurant is the best!
This place is hoping with customers! Leaves chic fil la in the dust! I had the chicken sliders with season fries. Bite size enough full of bold flavors seasoned right! I asked for mild but you can ask for hot if you dare. It packs a punch! Folks don't hesitate and give them a try cause you will not be disappointed.
Honestly not worth the hype, I was so excited to try it and it unfortunately did not hit (just average) :( this location also doesnt have a lot of seating options which made it difficult to find a table.
