TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tried Dave's hot chicken for the first time. ordered hot chicken and it is indeed hot and tasty. Chicken was very soft and juicy. French fries were also good. Also tried cauliflower bites, these tasted good too. Overall good. Restrooms here are clean. Service is fast and good.
Went to the new Appleby location in Burlington on the grand opening day and even though it was very busy, the food was of much better quality. Maybe on purpose since it was grand opening day but now as some time has passed the quality has gone down. The slider was not as good and the fries which I thought were great the first time it tried them on grand opening day, now was mostly just plain fries with barely any seasoning on them. Food to price ratio is absolutely abysmal. 1 tender and a small slider consisting of 1 tender and fries for 20.33 is borderline ripoff. Food itself wasn't that bad, medium spice feels more like mild, chicken tender was good but slider was very average, and sauce was watery though. Place was kind of dirty but service was top notch, friendly cashier.
Glad to see more Dave's locations popping up in Canada! Was excited to try this location as it's not too far from KW/Cambridge. The chicken was fresh and tasted good! Although I would say it's no match for the California locations, it still comes pretty close. The store could use additional seating for larger groups. Portions were sized well and fill you up, we got combo 3's for each person. Staff was friendly and service was quick.
Dave's Hot Chicken is hands down the best spot in town for a fried chicken sandwich. The flavor is incredible – juicy, spicy, and always fresh. Harshi provided us with a top notch service, kudos to her for doing an amazing job! I was impressed by how the staff that's was incredibly engaging.
