The fact that I was referred here by Dominique Wilkins and it was my first time coming and the service that I received was upsetting. This is not halal and I'm not sure why it is listed as halal on Yelp. I don't trust the food at this place.

I am struggling to comprehend the hype surrounding this establishment. The extended wait times seem unjustified, especially considering that my food arrived lukewarm on two separate occasions. Initially, I attributed this to my own misjudgment, as I wanted to give this new place a fair chance. However, the second experience was even more disappointing than the first. Moving forward, I have decided to patronize Zaxby's for my chicken fix, as their quality far surpasses that of this establishment.

So one day my parents called me saying that they were bringing home food and they were hyping it up. I didn't think it was going to be anything worthwhile. My nigga this shit was actually amazing. It didn't have a fast food chicken taste at all it tasted like home cooked chicken. Wish I could give them Five Stars but because of the long wait (hour and half) can't. It's probably because their Chicken is Good and Juicy but it's Really for Chicken Lovers That Love Very Spicy Chicken...need a bigger place too!!!

After waiting for 35 minutes, I didn't enjoy it as I hoped I would. The flavor was confusing because I really did taste anything besides hot meat. It was a big slab of chicken on a bun that was ill-fitting to the sandwich. I had high expectations for this experience being my first for Dave's. Now, I have absolutely no expectations. I would like a refund and would gladly return these two meals if I could get that.

I'm giving it 2 stars because the food is good.. I have been to this restaurant twice and both time the wait time is ridiculous 30 min or longer. The staff is in the back playing an having a ball when they should be trying to get the customer out in a decent time.
