The interior was clean and bright. The employees were helpful and friendly. We ordered the bites and tenders meals which came with fries and bread. Everything was delicious.

Overall 3.5 rating. The food was super good and good amount of spice. However we did wait 30 min for the food (at peek dinner hour 6:00ish) and the lady Ella who took our order had major attitude for no reason I was being nice and ordering quick I think she just didn't want to be there maybe Would get again tho

I'm truly conflicted on how to rate this specific Dave's Hot Chicken establishment. I live in San Diego and I'm currently in Redding visiting family so I haven't been to the Redding Dave's Hot. However I go to Dave's Hot Chicken on a consistent basis down in San Diego so I know what to expect when I go there. The big gripe I have with this place is the wait time. They ended up giving me a voucher for a meal and I came in there just because I was nearby already hungry so I gave them another chance food was only about 9 min wait, was fresh good and spice wasn't nearly as crazy makes me think I got pranked the first time hahah, anyways shout out to you guys for changing my mind. The loaded fries are amazing
