This is the first Dave's I've been to and I was most definitely satisfied. I got hot and it had quite a bit of heat, I'm accustomed to hot stuff and fresh peppers but the powdered form gets me(I suggest medium first try). Everything was tasty and very fresh but it is expensive for chicken.

Straight forward menu with mostly chicken. I was a little unsure about the "hot" food because even though I have surprised myself by how much heat I can handle, I prefer mild heat in everyday life or a full meal. They have a heat rating that goes all the way down to no heat which was a relief. The walls were super vibrant and the whole vibe of the restaurant was a touch intense. TL;DR - Try them out, the most unique fried chicken I have ever had at a brick-and-moter store... Full disclosure - we only stopped in as I had noticed the place in passing on our way to another chicken-related restaurant in the area. It's closed on Sunday's but Dave's is not. So glad we stopped in. After being warmly greeted at the counter the young lady taking our order was patient and helpful as we placed our very first order at Dave's. The food is good but pretty average for the price. I feel like it's very overrated. It's also disappointing that they were out of the medium heat. You would think they would have enough sauces and not tell people they have to choose either mild or hot.

Opening day - 12/19/2025. The place was very busy but the staff were working quickly to get through the line. The food was fresh and the chicken is quite good. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoors. Everything was clean as it should be on opening day. No issues, will return.
