Finally made it to the newest location of Dave's Hot Chicken on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater. This is my third location that I've tried and I have to say Dave's consistency of food quality is right on point. I got my go to order, a #1 extra hot with fries and extra pickles. I also had a fountain Coke. The chicken was piping hot, crispy and delicious, as were the fries. This location was very busy on the Saturday that I visited. Almost all the tables were full. Love Dave's Hot Chicken service was great food was good and the staff was very friendly the only 2 thing 1 the kiosk was confusing and the soda (coke) was not the best tasting but overall it was pretty nice. Five stars.

New place that is all about the chicken. For the good part: 1) chicken was very flavorful and juicy 2) fries were cooked nicely and seasoned properly 3) large variety of spice levels from none to silly. I asked what most people order and the most popular is 2 sliders (Dave meal #2). And there is no way that is a meal designed for one person. Honestly, not impressed at all. The service itself wasn't great either--slow, unorganized, and not very friendly. As for the food, it's wildly overpriced for what you get. Portions are average, quality is nothing special, and it definitely doesn't justify the hype or the price tag. There are way better places to spend your money if you want hot chicken. Would not recommend.
