My wife and I decided to take a flyer on Dave's Hot Chicken since we were in the area, and we were pleasantly surprised! It is slightly pricier than their chicken competitors, but I think the unique and delicious flavor makes up for it. Additionally, you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck, as we could not come close to finishing our sliders, fries, and mozzarella (which was delicious.) The employees were very nice and were eager to answer any questions. Definitely worth a try if you've never been.
First time trying this place. It was SO DELICIOUS!!! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Donovan was super helpful and nice! He's a very hard worker that kept a smile the whole time. Very patient since it was my first time here. I will definitely be back!!

Finally made it to the newest location of Dave's Hot Chicken on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater. This is my third location that I've tried and I have to say Dave's consistency of food quality is right on point. I got my go to order, a #1 extra hot with fries and extra pickles. I also had a fountain Coke. The chicken was piping hot, crispy and delicious, as were the fries. This location was very busy on the Saturday that I visited. Almost all the tables were full. Love Dave's Hot Chicken service was great food was good and the staff was very friendly the only 2 thing 1 the kiosk was confusing and the soda (coke) was not the best tasting but overall it was pretty nice. Five stars.

1st time visitor Food taste was basic Chicken tenders were dried out and burnt crispy Fries are basic Bought 2 #1's - almost 30 bucks!! Absolutely not worth it. Won't be back. Pickles were great!!!

Disappointed. All the food tasted burnt or like they needed to change the oil. Also they forgot my side of ranch which they charged me $1.50 for. Kind of over priced and food was not great
