Finally made it to the newest location of Dave's Hot Chicken on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater. This is my third location that I've tried and I have to say Dave's consistency of food quality is right on point. I got my go to order, a #1 extra hot with fries and extra pickles. I also had a fountain Coke. The chicken was piping hot, crispy and delicious, as were the fries. This location was very busy on the Saturday that I visited. Almost all the tables were full. Love Dave's Hot Chicken service was great food was good and the staff was very friendly the only 2 thing 1 the kiosk was confusing and the soda (coke) was not the best tasting but overall it was pretty nice. Five stars.

The flight of saucy bites were small and disappointing. Additionally my friend had a hair in his #1 meal. We just left at that point and went next door. Has potential. Other locations are much better in Texas

I drove almost 30 minutes to try this place because I heard it was so good and honestly, I didn't see what all the hype was about. I felt like the chicken didn't really taste like anything but powdery seasoning that wasn't really seasoned and it camewith coleslaw and the coleslaw tasted like nothing. There was no flavor to the coleslaw at all. so overall I felt like $20 for two sliders that barely tasted like anything just wasn't worth it for me. and that's $20 without a drink or sauce you have to pay extra for that.

Didn't have Oreo overload when I went up there last Friday . Disappointing. This location is very busy. There are a lot of mobile orders, be prepared to wait. However that soggy bread yall have , just keep it . The seasoned rub on chicken is good. I've elected to be vegetarian. Your pockets will be utilized and ran through with these prices, it's very expensive. It's busy and loud ambiance. The parking is difficult and busy.

My order was incomplete I couldn't believe it. I ordered Dave's bites w/ fries n Hot Mozz 5 Piece Meal. My total was $27.01..When I got home I had a 2 piece tender w/ fries n a large plate of fries. I tried calling to talk to the manager the phone just kept hanging up ringing one time. I am so dissappointed it's unbelievable. .I will try to get in contact with the manager again

If you come to Dave's Hot Chicken, make sure you come on a week where you get paid because you will leave here with your belly full taste buds season but your wallet will be empty We came on a busy Friday. The service was great. They call your name. Once you order. The ambience was popping. The people were coming to get eat on a Friday night. New place that is all about the chicken. For the good part: 1) chicken was very flavorful and juicy 2) fries were cooked nicely and seasoned properly 3) large variety of spice levels from none to silly. I asked what most people order and the most popular is 2 sliders (Dave meal #2). And there is no way that is a meal designed for one person.
