Dr. Amsterdam is an excellent ophthalmologist! My husband and I have been patients of his for a good many years now and we trust him implicitly . He is caring, thorough, professional, and always has time to answer questions completely.
I very much enjoy Dr. Amsterdam and am glad that I found him upon my arrival in the KC area. His practice has greatly helped both my wife and me with our eye care.
Feel very confident in his abilities. Very pleased with my care and my cataract surgery. I did not feel pressured to have the surgery but I am so glad I did. I can see so much better now.

Its the only Place Medicare allows me to go for eye surgery if I need it! My visit resulted in no issues!
Dr is very good. Only complaint was that my appt was 2 pm and I didn’t see him until 3:30. He did explain..
My visit was highly professional and helpful. David answered all of my questions, provided easily understood information, and took the time to explain the procedures he was using. He has an affable manner and enjoys a good joke from time to time. Super !
