Worst experience ever. I called and they told me I don't need an appointment to try on bridesmaids dresses with my bridal party. Got there and had to wait over an hour to try on 5 dresses. The consultant had my small group (3 people) and one other group. We never saw her. She was no help and extremely rude to us. We had to go and search for other dresses and sizes. They tried to rush us into making a decision on dresses that were extremely overpriced and all had to be altered. The alterations cost more than the dress!!!! Th... read more

This would have been a five star rating had it not been for the cost of alterations. I bought a rather expensive dress & was sized according to their choice. The alterations for the said dress was approximately half the cost of the dress!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Ask price of alterations before purchasing from Davids Bridal in Gboro, & save yourself or have a back up alterations person. I am told that not all alterations cost are the same at all locations.

We had a 330 appointment, at 345 no one had called us. We left and bought a dress somewhere else. Our group must have be invisible to them.

Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We didn't schedule an appointment for my sister to try on wedding dresses, she literally want to put a dress with sleeves on to just see what it looked like. It took about 30 mins to even get the very rude consultant or manager (couldn't tell) to let her do that (in a bridesmaid fitting room during my bridesmaid fitting time).. once she was out she LOVED THE DRESS! This place is a damn JOKE....... on two separate occasions we purchased dresses from here and took it to the lady who does our alterations and once the dress was taken out of the plastic for the first time since purchasing and in better lighting { b/c if you have been back in the dressing rooms you would know the lighting is terrible } there were stains all over the dresses. $200 dollar dresses have stains all over them. I came to davids bridal for bridesmaid dresses back in April. I already had the dress picked out we just needed to get everyone size. The consultant that was working with us was okay in the beginning but after 20 mins of helping us she just walked away for about 30 mins we couldn't find her to get her help. You would think alterations would be included when you buy a dress from them especially when they don't tell you anything otherwise. My daughter went to be fitted and ended up paying 362.00 dollars more for alterations. The dress was paid for already. If I had been there the dress would have came home with us without them touching it. I think I could had gotten it altered elsewhere.
What was supposed to be a fun, great, first time dress shopping appointment left us all frustrated and will definitely not return. Appointment was at 4 but consultant was running behind and then has to work with 2 brides at a time. Although the consultant was pleasant she wasn't hearing what we were telling her what the appointment was really about.
