I have visited the David's Bridal numerous times since I got engaged last July to buy gift cards, purchase various swatches to decide on colors and look at possible bridesmaid dresses. Everytime I saw Kay one of the assistant managers and she was always friendly and helpful plus she remembered me everytime I came in. I finally booked an appt for my own dress and I had it yesterday. Went bad at first but manager saved the day. Felt like not a priority but it was fixed.
I want to leave a good review, however I have very mixed emotions towards this place. My first visit was on whim. Me and my friend went in search of a wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses. We "snuck by" the front desk on a very busy Saturday an hour before cosing time. The desk clerk "never saw us" but there wasn't any body standing there when we walked thru the door. I had an appointment yesterday, 2/21, for a wedding dress fitting. The consultant that was appointed to me was Michelle and she was FANTASTIC!! I came with 5 other people - she made sure chairs were available and introduced herself to everyone that was with me. Michelle asked me so many questions to get a feel for what I wanted - I had no intention of actually getting a dress yesterday but thanks to her, I purchased the most beautiful wedding dress that I could've imagined. I went this morning to look for my wedding gown along with one of my bridesmaids and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my consultant Alyssa. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable! Thank you so very much! Cannot wait till my dress comes in!!
I have had nothing but good service with Davids Bridal in Colonie NY! When I had my first appointment the consultant knew exactly what I was looking for and found the dress of my dreams! The only thing she didnt do was tell me the dress would be smaller when ordered brand new.. so when I tried my dress on it was too small! Davids got me in for a fitting appointment right away but when I got there my dress style had been discontinued!! They ran around like mad women to try and figure out how to get me a bigger dress they foun... read more
I did find my wedding dress from here. However it wasn't thanks to the staff. My family that I brought with me picked out dresses with me. My consultant showed me my dressing room and disappeared until after I had already found my dress. No thanks to her. They have beautiful dresses but the associates are less than helpful. I had an appt too.
