We have purchased several dresses from David's Bridal over the years for our daughter. Prom dresses, her confirmation dress, and most recently her wedding gown and all the accessories. While there yesterday at the Franklin, TN location, we were not treated very nice, and had minimal help, even though my daughter had a scheduled fitting session for her Bridal party. When the assistant realized she was not getting a sale that day from the bridesmaids, she pretty much dumped us and moved onto other customers. I'll never return ... read more

The ONLY reason I'm not giving a 5 is the return policy. These are big purchases and you should be able to at least exchange an unworn, unaltered dress. I had purchased a dress at a different store, but was filled with regret and wasn't in love with my dress. Lani at the Franklin store was wonderful and let me try on dresses as many times as I needed. When they say they are ordering you a new dress, that means that they trying to find in another store. Always check it and take it on . You may be getting a used dress. That happened to us on 3 -5 -16 . This was the Franklin store
Suggestions: 1. Make an appointment at least a week ahead of time. Don't bother getting there early if you make your appointment on a Saturday as you will still have to wait. 2. When you make your appointment, ask for the sales person that has the platform that day. If it's Megan, you're in luck - she is very patient and has the ability to listen to the bride and help pull dresses she believes the bride will like. And she was correct. 3. The lady helping in Franklin, TN refused to give me the dress size I asked for in case I "gain weight". Then the day I went to pay for it they said we had less than 12 hours for everyone to pay for theirs as well without any notice at all. We were lucky to even have gone that day cause otherwise we would have never known. The lady told us that it will be available a week before her wedding which was still 3 months away at the time.
